The Yuyo fleet currently features 15 vessels - eight Very Large LPG Carriers (VLGC), four product tankers, three chemical tankers - which enable us to provide safe, reliable transport services suited to our customers' needs. Moreover, as part of our continuing effort to grow and develop our business, we are expanding our fleet of LPG carriers, product carriers and chemical tankers specialized in "clean liquid" transport and are contributing to the society our expertise to the field of energy transport.
LPG Carries
-One of the Largest LPG Fleets in the World-
Yuyo is a pioneer in the international LPG shipping business, having constructed and launched our first VLGC in 1966.
The more than 40 years of experience and technical expertise which we have cultivated since then allows us to continue to provide safer,
more reliable transport services. We now possess one of the largest VLGC fleet
in the world, and will complete the construction of two more new vessels in the near future. In addition, we launched a
new business in May 2005 by converting an older LPG carrier into LPG/FSO (Floating Storage and Offloading) unit and placed it into operation in Indonesia. Looking ahead, we are striving to expand our business while remaining focused on safe ship navigation.
Product Tankers
-Meeting Customer Needs with a Worldwide Ship Operation-
Four product tankers (MR type) are currently in operation. With the addition of one more new product tankers
in the future, we will have a total of five product tankers.
Yuyo Steamship Co.,Ltd. provides ship operations around the world as an expert in the transport of petroleum products.
Chemical Tankers
-Expanding our Business by entering into Chemical transport-
We currently operate three chemical tankers featuring tanks constructed entirely by stainless steel and are in the process of completing one more.
With an expanded fleet of chemical tankers and a commitment to safety, we aim to greatly expand our business in the area of chemical transport.
